Our sweet treats ripen in the heart of the coastal polder
Thanks to the sun and a light sea breeze, our big, dark cherries ripen into sweet, juicy fruit.
The cherries that are a little less pretty become jam, made the artisan way in open copper pans. Or they are pressed into juice, or brewed into a fresh, sweet cherry beer.
From early August we pick several kinds of sweet plums, nicely ripened on the tree. Just like the juicy, crisp summer apples.
Our sweet mirabelles and greengages ripen from mid August and are for sale until early September. Only in mid November do the last autumn apples close our basket of fresh fruit.
From the tree to the jar
Cherries, plums and apples grow in our own orchard. The cherries that are just a little less pretty become jam, juice or cherry beer. In the shop on the Hazegrasstraat you find the fresh fruit in season, and all year round our jams, juices and cherry beer.
